Stripe disputes
File the evidence. Keep the recovery.
A dispute comes with a deadline. DisputeClerk builds the packet from the charge and the policies you already published, then stages it. Installing starts 14 days free, with no card. After that it is $49 a month, or protection stops. There is no cut of the amount you win back.
Before you install, read the Terms and the Privacy Policy.

How a dispute moves
- 1.
Read the charge
When a dispute opens, DisputeClerk pulls the dispute, the charge, the customer, and any invoice or checkout consent already on the Stripe account. Refund, cancellation, and terms URLs you save are snapshotted into the packet.
- 2.
Fight only what the record supports
A reason-code playbook chooses fight or accept. A fight gets a short narrative. A check rejects a sentence that is not backed by a fact in the bundle, including claims about 3-D Secure, AVS, tracking, or a refund that the charge does not show.
- 3.
Stage it, then file before the deadline
Exhibit PDFs are uploaded and the response is staged with submit left off. The first three fights wait until you approve them. After that, if auto-submit is on, the packet goes about 48 hours before the evidence deadline.

Questions worth answering first
Is the price a share of what I recover?
No. Fourteen days free from the moment you install, with no card. Then $49 a month if you subscribe. The price does not change when a dispute is won. If the trial ends without a subscription, preparation stops. Chargeback vendors often keep 20–30% of recovered funds. Stripe Smart Disputes can charge 30% when Stripe files the response. DisputeClerk marks the submission manual and sends your packet.
When does it actually get submitted?
Not the moment the dispute arrives. Evidence is staged first. Your first three fights stay in the dashboard until you approve them. Later fights, with auto-submit on, are sent about 48 hours before the deadline. You can turn auto-submit off. You cannot turn off the first-three rule.
What if I should not fight it?
The playbook can recommend that you accept. Accepting does not update the dispute. If you confirm, DisputeClerk closes it. Closing a dispute counts as a loss.
Do you publish a win rate?
No. Card networks decide the outcome. It depends on the reason code and the facts on that charge. We will not invent a percentage for the homepage.
